Jasmin Lankford

Jasmin Lankford is a poet, essayist, and teaching artist from Jacksonville, Florida. She is the founder of Just Listen Journey, an online creative arts program for survivors of sexual violence. In addition to Pushcart Prize and Sundress Publications’ Best of the Net nominations, her work has been published online, in print, and in gallery exhibitions. Her latest essay was published at The Rumpus.

Jasmin graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and completed her Creative Writing Minor in France at the American University of Paris. Currently, she is studying Floral Design and Interior Design at the New York Institute of Art and Design.

Jasmin works in social media marketing at AAA – The Auto Club Group and hosts a travel video series. She serves her local community through volunteer work with the Junior League of Jacksonville, the Women’s Center of Jacksonville, and 904WARD.

Just Listen Journey is dedicated to helping survivors of sexual violence transform their trauma through writing, floral arrangements, and interior design. The program is focused on cultivating creativity and supporting survivors through seasons of healing.
